Family and Youth Initiatives (FYI) is the prevention division within Chaffee County Department of Human Services, with a focus on providing evidence-based prevention resources for children, youth, and families in Chaffee County. FYI’s programs promote health and reduce risk to build a strong community. FYI is recognized as a community leader in prevention and family support services and is funded through multiple government grants, foundations, Chaffee County Department of Human Services (DHS), and generous community support. FYI is seated within DHS, under the overall direction of the Director of Human Services, and all FYI staff are employees of the County.
